A while back I had a warehouse job which required me to do a lot of lifting (boxes etc.). I cant honestly tell you that I took part in proper lifting methods every time I lifted a box or something. I only worked there for about 2 months...maybe a little less. Shortly after I left this job, I started having lower back pain. It was pretty bad. It was hard to bend down to do anything, whenever I sat in a chair it started getting sore, and when it got sore, it shot pain down my right leg. It went away after a couple weeks, then came back about a month later and lasted a couple weeks. Now it starts to bother me when I do certain things. For example, today I was putting some tiki torches in the ground and I was bent over pushing them into the ground and it started bothering me. Anyone have any ideas on what this could be? I have a friend who was having a similar problem and he got a massage and said it went away. I just really dont want it to be a serious problem, especially since I have plans of joining the coast guard and I dont want this to hinder that.
