a string like thing under skin of left arm and pain when stretching arm?

a string like thing under skin of left arm and pain when stretching arm?
Have you had blood drawn, something injected, or any type of surgery recently? I Googled "string like thing under the skin of my arm" and came up with a forum full of people who seem to think it has to do with lymph nodes. One person said a nurse suggested physical therapy. There might be other ideas as to what it could be on that website or others, if you do some selective Googling (putting certain phrases in quotation marks for exact search, etc.). The link I'm including is from a breast cancer forum, but I think the person just asked there. I'm not sure that it has anything to do with breast cancer.
About 3 weeks ago, I started to have pain when I stretched my left arm, I could press a spot on my left forearm and feel the pain. No pain if I bend my left arm a little. Later that spot became a line, and it kept getting longer, now it's about a half of the forearm length, and when I stretched my left arm, I could see skin being pulled back along that line, and anyone could feel the line underneath the skin with beats like thing on it.

I went to 2 family doctors, first one not sure about it, thought it maybe a clotted small vessel, asked me to take some aspirin and warm pad. Second doctor had me done an Xray, revealing nothing, then I got an MRI order as needed. The second doctor thought it was a clogged lymph duct, and asked me to take ibufrophen, massage, and using warm pad.

There is no swelling, no pain when arm not stretched, no redness, no rash or anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions, information, etc? Would appreciate very much.
Thanks very much for the information. I've had no need stick, no injury, no surgery there.
