Relaxation is an act of renewing the mind,soul and body.To a large extent,it is a call of nature.After a relaxation session,a person feels renewed,refreshed and refreshed and relaxed.

There are four main types of techniques of relaxation -visualization,progressive muscle relaxation, autogenenic and the practice of complete Silence Visualization. -This technique involves the use of mental images to take a journey to a peaceful and calming place.for example you can imagine yourself alone at a sea.You can think of your surroundings.closing your eyes enhances this relaxation technique

Autogenic relaxation-This is a process of relaxing which involves the use of image from within. It also involves you making good suggestions to yourself.

Progressive muscle relaxation. this technique allows you to focus on tensing and relaxing each of your muscles.This technique also allows you to suggest good things to yourself and imagine good memories in order to relax

One very powerful act that can relax you immediately is silence.Practice complete silence for about 60 seconds and watch your nerves relax completely. For almost 60 seconds don't think about anything -maintain absolute silence.

Other forms of relaxation include yoga,meditation and hypnosis

It is important to note though that these techniques take practice to be mastered. You have to practice them on a regular basis in order to get used to them
