Easily sits up to 6 if 2 occupy the mesh.The mesh is tight and soft enough to lay in so you can work on your tan without getting sweaty.The combination of sitting and having a filter that prevents large debris from knocking your feet is just plain awesome.Sitting or laying down is easy on this float - the back is strong enough to support most adults without folding over and dipping its occupant (unless that was the occupant's intention).Cons:While the ladder is a great idea, it just doesn't work all that well. The ladder tends to lean, so you have to balance on it, and it really doesn't add any grace to getting on the float anyway. The idea rocks, but the implementation is a fail.The plastic can get a little hot after sitting in the sun without occupants - not hot enough to burn badly, but hot enough to get your attention.In choppy water, this thing feels like a white water theme park rapids ride. There is probably no chance of getting tipped over, but if you stay on long enough, you will be rocking in your sleep. We used a pwc 20LB sand bag anchor to keep this in place and it stayed perfectly even in the rough waters.Overall this float rocks. Very happy with this purchase!"
