I have RSI, Repetitive Strain Injury. Will using ergonomic keyboard/mouse/chair help me deal with that? (?

Looks like you've already done all the research and know what to do, why are you asking?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repetitive_strain_injury

I started having some issues with my hands recently, please check the link above for some kind of an explanation on the "Repetitve Strain Injury" problem.

Why this happened - I work on a computer and I type alot, average speed is I think 70 words per minutes or something like that? I am kind of fast on the mouse/keyboard and I play games a lot too. Basically, I use my computer almost 90% of the time while I am awake and I am a huge nerd.

In regards to the RSI, I went to a doctor for some, got some pills and some kind of gel to massage them 2-3 times a day. I also started taking more breaks and doing exercise for my hands.

General advice to all of you - watch out and do things for your health. Do yoga, workout in some way and mind your health. If everything is okay with you right now you might ignore my advice, but really, it might become an issue if you dont watch out :(

I started searching for an Ergonomic Mouse/Keyboard and an Ergonomic chair perhaps? Some of the web sites for Ergonomic Mouse/Keyboards looked a bit shady to me and not backed up by so much science. My income is average (600-700 EUR or 800-900 USD per month) and I do not want to waste my money if these things will not help me, but I can afford them if they will help. I have no idea what to get. Please, help me out!

First, I want you kind gentlemen and ladies to advice on a keyboard/mouse. I looked on the internet and I found some really weird stuff like this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00427TAIK/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=angmanangpag-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00427TAIK

> when my hands hurt a lot 1-2 weeks ago, it felt better when I placed my arm in the same position as described in the pic. I wonder if this will help to use such a mouse perhaps?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FWKA7A/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=angmanangpag-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001FWKA7A

> Kind of the same concept like the previous but a bit smaller?

[Microsoft mouse :(](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KA7PD0/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=angmanangpag-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000KA7PD0)

> at this moment everything looks appealing to me, I use a Razer mouse right now :(

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002HWRJBM/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=angmanangpag-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B002HWRJBM

>That's the coolest choice for me, but I am not sure if it will help, the others look more "ergonomic" I think? Also, is it a good idea to have a Wireless mouse?

Now, for ergonomic chairs... I was looking at the following models:

http://www.hermanmiller.com/Products/Embody-Chairs

http://www.humanscale.com/products/product_detail.cfm?group=FreedomTaskChairWithHeadrest

http://ergohuman.com/products/Ergohuman-Chair-LEM4ERG-%252d-High-Back-with-Headrest-and-Leather-and-Mesh-.html

Does these chairs help out? I read that posture is very important and I try to keep my hands on the table surface in order to not strain/tire myself. A good chair is a good investment, like you need a good bed etc. Things like these are important. So recommend me something if you can ;)
For clarification, to Kebler and others : I am asking if these products ACTUALLY help. I already have a chair, a mouse and a keyboard. I do not want to waste my money if they are not going to help, I am just afraid it might not help so I am asking out for people with experience who had RSI and bought such or similar products. They can tell me if the products in question helped.
