You need to be calming your system down by using BABY music CD's. I bought some for my son and notice how calm I always am while listening to them, I leave them on on purpose all DAY. Its the tempo.....its SLLLLLLLOOOOWWWW and thus your mind tries to copy the pace. Fast music/loud naturally produces Nitric Oxide content in your blood which will hype your system up when you need to be giving it a break.

STAY AWAY FROM stimulants = SUGAR, CHOCOLATE, CAFFEINE, and ALCOHOL. Refrain from these and 2 months down the road your body will have naturally detoxed, while waiting during the 2 months you might get depressed do to the detox and lack of stimulants your body IS ADDICTED TO. FOOD AND MOOD IS FACT AMONGST DOCTORS. THESE ALL CONTRIBUTE to low serotonin by forcing the release of serotonin at times that your body doesn't need it, and causing adrenal fatigue....either of which WILL CAUSE VERY BAD ANXIETY......I know I have to stay away from these..... as was recommended by other anxiety suffers to me as well. When I don't refrain and fall off the wagon for a week I SEE THE DIFFERENCE WHEN THE ATTACKS COME BACK. DAM TASTY CHOCOLATES...lol ;)
I suffer from panic attacks. I have been suffering from them for 2 years now and I thought I had overcome them as I had progressed really well in the counselling sessions; I was on 10mg Citalopram 1 a day and my DR said I was doing so well I can just take the Citalopram every other day. Recently I have been suffering from panic attacks, I had 2 exams and I was really sick before and was so nervous before I thought I couldn't go through it but as soon as they were over I felt fine,
Now every morning I always feel sick (which was always a part of my panic attacks) and I don't like staying at friends houses after a party or something.
Does anyone know of any good cheap(ish) hypno or meditation CDs for this anxiety. It is really taking over my life and I thought I had overcome it and I hate it.
Someone help please. I really want to start counselling too but it's too expensive in London to go private- anyone know cheaper counselling? Thanks :)
